Cathryn's short film, “Buona Fortuna”, is in post-production.

September 2003

 Cathryn is in production, directing and acting in  “Buona Fortuna”, a wild comedy about an Italian woman coming to Los Angeles to get away from her stalker ex-boyfriend.  Starring Antonella Elia, and Brent Steven Brown.  With Pietro Arpessella, Gino Montesinos, Bahni Turpin, Lawrence LeJohn and Cathryn de Prume.  Produced by David Rojas. Cinematographer: Alicia Robbins.

After recording drums with "Bell Ringer" in June, 2003,  Ivan rediscovered his deep love of drumming and has joined forces with music business manager, Debbie Levin, earlier in July to immediately form the band he always wanted to be in:

- Ivan begins composing the score for "Garbage".

- Rough cut "Garbage" is completed.  

7/13/02

-"Random Shooting in LA", a film in which Cathryn was one of the stars as well as a writer, screens at the DancesWithFilms Festival. Check out www.randomshootinginla.com

- "Stinky" is finished and is submitted to festivals.  

6/25/02

-Cathryn shows "Stinky" and gets advice from Allan Arkush, producer of NBC's "Crossing Jordan" and director of the Roger Corman movie, "Rock and Roll High School".  

6/6/02

-Ivan and Cathryn fly to New York to shoot "Garbage", starring their brother, Andy de Prume with Marjory Graue and Cathryn. This time they had a crew: Greg Skoorka, who was "White Zombie's" #1 roadie since day one and a PA on tons of movies, was camera assistant, helped with continuity, lighting and more. Without Greg the movie would have taken so much longer to complete. Stephanie Smith helped with set decoration as well as made everyone's meals. And the de Prume kids'  mama, Julia de Prume, helped by making "Blended Salad" for everyone, not to mention paid for all the food. The film was shot in the brownstone they grew up in.

-In preproduction for their second short, "Garbage".

-Horror movie director, Robert Rundle, comes on the set and gives a few pointers. Robert himself has expanded to a Canon XL1 and a G4 with Final Cut Pro.  

5/18/02

-Ivan installs Avid Xpress on his dual 1.6 ghz computer, figures it out, and they begin editing "Stinky".  

5/16/02

-Production begins on their first short film, "Stinky" starring Kaycee Shank, Marjory Graue, Don Swayze, Jessa French and Nadia. With no budget, Ivan decides to use his orange picker as a boom pole to attach a microphone.  Writer/Director: Cathryn de Prume, Director of Photography and Editor: Ivan de Prume. With Ivan and Cathryn as the only crew. Shot on a Canon Elura mini DV.
